He had no business spouting a...Makes my blood boil! He had no business spouting a personal agenda at the graduation ceremonies of a PUBLIC university. I find that very offensive. I believe in the freedom to practise the religion of your choice (or none at all), but that doesn't give you the right to take over a public event and use it for your own purposes, not to mention for prosyletizing.<BR/><BR/>Now that we have a Prime Minister who is bent on copying every move Bush has ever made (and is apparently incapable of realizing that none of these moves have worked for Bush!), this is just the sort of thing I fear happening here. Canada has long been statistically less religious than the US, but our PM is a fundamentalist Christian, and he keeps trying to bring his religion into politics. Well, never mind trying. He brings it in but then pretends he hasn't. <BR/><BR/>We've always been reasonably good here with the separation of church and state (though not perfect), and I fear we are at the top of a slippery slope.<BR/><BR/>Anyway! That speaker was way out of line.
