The Downside of Literacy

Text of note discovered last night in Thing 1's bedroom doorway:
THiGN1
iSS BEd
dAMM
A check with the author this morning confirmed that it says what I though it said. Apparently, T1 did something to tick off her newly-literate younger sibling, and the note was the response. I love how she not only decided to swear, but also decided that "damn" has 2 m's. Can you imagine what notes she'll be writing in a few years?

Out of the mouths of babes....

Too funny.

If that's as condemning as things ever get between the Things, you're doing pretty well. But DAMM, I remember being that mad at my sister, too.

That is too funny (ducking) - I'm sure it's not if you're the mommy, but I'm snickering at the determination she must have felt to communicate her feelings in writing.

And to this day, I still spell the d*mm*t version of that word with two m's, no n. I try not to say it often of course, but I guess some spelling errors never go away! :-))

Anyway, hope peace reigns in your home again soon! Maybe a big kiss from Ruthie would fix things up.

Pretty funny. I remember being that mad at my older sister a time or two, but we get along much better now. I think Thing 2 has a career as an author ahead of her.
