Tattoo Me

So, I am now a tattooed woman. It didn't hurt as much as I thought it would, and was actually a pleasant experience. It's just a little sore now. An explanation of the design? Of course, we have the scales of justice, because of my law degree, but the scale itself is shaped like the Greek letter psi. Psi is a shorthand symbol for psychology, which is what my PhD is in. And the whole thing is on top of a law book. It's kinda geeky and I'm very happy with it.

Thanks, you guys! The T2 hasn't noticed it yet. T1 is away at camp until next week. And Hubby's back home in California, although I did email him a picture.

Geeky? I don't think so. Besides, what would a true academic be, if not geeky? (But you are NOT, actually.) Agnes

Beautiful. Tattoos should be meaningful to the one being tattooed. I hate it when someone walks into the tattoo parlor and just tells the artist to pick something. It's your body, you pick it. And welcome to the world of those who have been tattooed. :)

Wow, can't believe I haven't read your blog in so long that I missed the new tattoo. My first was on my leg and I was so happy it didn't hurt. My most recent one on my fore-arm...OUCH! But I love it so it's worth it Good for you! Enjoy the freedom of it.
